CD Weld Nails/Pins for Ductwork

Cup Head Weld Nails is a resistance-welded fastener designed to attach insulation materials (mineral wool, fiberglass, rockwool) to metal substrates using a stud welding gun. The cup-shaped head provides a large clamping surface that holds insulation securely without tearing or pulling through.

This version comes with a paper washer pre-assembled on the pin. The paper washer serves two purposes:

  • Protects the insulation surface from compression damage during welding

  • Prevents weld spatter from burning or contaminating the insulation material
