Installation:

1. Hook and Align: Slide the curved J-Hook end through the wire mesh and hook it securely onto the underside lip of the solar panel frame.

2. Push and Lock: Place the stainless steel washer over the pin and firmly push it against the mesh until it locks into place, creating a tight seal. Recommended spacing is approximately 450mm (18 inches) or using 2 clips on the short edge and 3 on the long edge of a standard panel .

3. Trim and Finish: Using linesman pliers, bend the exposed end of the pin over to secure it fully, or trim the excess pin length for a clean finish .

• How many clips do I need for a standard solar panel?
  For a typical 1.6m x 1m panel, we recommend using 3 clips on each long edge and 2 clips on each short edge. For a standard 3kW system (12 panels), approximately 35 clips are required .

• Will these clips damage my solar panels?
  No. The clips are designed to hook onto the frame lip without drilling or penetrating the panel surface. This preserves the panel’s structural integrity and warranty .

• Are these clips resistant to high temperatures and UV?
  Yes. Our 304 stainless steel material is heat resistant, and the optional black coating on the washers is specifically designed for UV protection to prevent fading and degradation over time
