Application
Self adhesive insulation hangers are manufactured to affix insulation wool or foam on surface of metal, wood, concrete, composite material, or any other common material seen in industries of construction, manufacturing etc.. and applied a lot in HVAC duct lining, air ducts, metal buildings or wood ones or concrete ones, and usually go with rock wool, mineral wool, glass wool, ceramic wool, phenolic foam, etc.
How to use?
The Insulation Hanger will only stick to a clean, dry, smooth surface. Remove any oil, rust, loose paint, etc. before applying the fastener. Cleaning the surface is recommended.
Peel off the backing paper. Notice that the Easy-Peel backing paper purposely overhangs the adhesive so that the paper is easy to grasp.
Firmly press the fastener against the cleaning surface.
Impale the insulation over the point of the fastener.
Secure the insulation with the self locking washer.
Bend or remove excess spindle.
Attention:
Do not use on metal buildings or ceilings where temperatures due to sunlight exposure may exceed 140ºF.
Do not use on cement, wood, or painted surfaces.
Must be used on clean dust-free surfaces.
Do not exceed spacing of 12″ between hangers and 2lb load per hanger.
